I am so excited to welcome back Jose Paredes and his amazing team! On June 24th JP Dance will perform for our Hard Rock crowd for our first Salsa Saturdays summer date. 

On June 25th Aroha Latin Dance and JP Dance will be offering Dominican Bachata classes for beginners and intermediate-advanced dancers. Jose is also available for private lessons earlier in the day. He will have 3 slots available.

10:00-1:00: Private Lessons ($80) PayPal.me/JPDance
1:00-2:00 Dominican Bachata for Newbies (Instructor: Adalia)
2:15-4:15 Bootcamp: Progressive Dominican Bachata for Intermediate-Advanced Dancers (Instructors: Adalia and Jose)
6:30-9:30: Early Salsa Sunday (Free entry for class and Bootcamp attendees)

COST
ONLINE:
$12/hour
$30 for all 3 hours (No upcharge for couples.)

ONSITE: CASH and CARDS Accepted
$20/hour

Jose Paredes-BIO
As a native Dominican Jose Paredes has been sharing his dancing roots for many years with the dancing community. He has been part of the salsa scene in the Raleigh area for the past 10 years, dancing, teaching and performing. He recently started his own dance team (JP dance) with a focus on Dominican bachata and mambo. He mainly focuses on Musicality, Technique, Body movements, Footwork and Connection.

Adalia Ellis-BIO
The founder of Aroha Arts Collective LLC (Aroha Latin Dance), Adalia Ellis is from South Carolina and has been dancing since she was a child. Naturally drawn to dance, as a teenager she participated in grassroots performing arts groups that focused on using dance to address issues of social importance such as racism, the equality of women and men, and substance abuse. She was first introdcuced to Latin Dance in the living room of her best friend. As a young adult she travelled the world and it was during her travels that she honed her skills as a Latin Dancer and become a certified instructor. She recently trained with and received certification in Black Belt Salsa with Edie "The Salsa Freak" and is a Black Belt System franchise owner in Myrtle Beach. She also attended Alex and Desiree's Instructor course and received certification in Beginner Instruction for Dominican Bachata. Aroha Latin Dance is dedicated to creating safe and welcoming spaces for people to learn dance and become part of a family of dancers.
